Hi I am new on board, by profession I am Product designer and I use 3D CAD applications to design my projects. I work in different materials to make prototype models. I designed many products like air-conditioners, evaporative coolers, solar lantern, rugged console for defense, and finally heavy metal bodybuilding equipment for Gym. Now a day I am working on a project of designing armed vehicles of different categories. I found iforgeiron.com when I was browsing internet for a bender plans amazing blacksmithing information on this site. I am glad that I become member of this forum. I will stay in touch with iforge iron to learn more great techniques of blacksmithing for my projects.

thanks that means i have to harden the mild steel with heat treatment for both type of bender hosfeld and diacro type and their dies also? may be after some time holes in both benders get oval in shape if material is soft. yes i will be using custom dies and attachments to bend and hold the tube.
