  1. I already know this, I was just mainly looking for a good small brick forge design since mine was just thrown together.
  2. I'm thirteen. I have thrown together a small forge that only takes up a 1 foot by1 1/2 foot area. It's made out of regular bricks, and I know it won't last. It has already proven that it can very easily melt lead, but it's having trouble with aluminum. Another thing is that it just works off of regular charcoal, and has a 4 inch fan for air regulation. I was wondering if there is a simple inexpensive design to make a brick or easy to get material forge that can melt aluminum? I am hoping that I can stay at charcoal too, I don't want to use propane or natural gas, maybe some other time if this isn't possible.
