Old hammer

I am new to the forum but not to blacksmithing. After an 8 year hiatus from my smithing hobby I have finally got my blacksmith shop back in operation. I live in SE Arizona, near the Mexican border on a small desert acreage in rural Pima County. I am a retired natural resource scientist and an enthusiastic, but not particularly distinguished, blacksmith. I hope to learn more from participating in this forum.
