  1. Did Fisher ever make anvils w/o their name cast in??

    Hello all, I've searched the forum here but haven't found an answer... sorry if there is a previous post that i missed. I'm looking at a 200# anvil that looks almost exactly like my Fisher 200#, except that it doesnt have the name "Fisher" cast into the base of the front foot. Everything else looks identical including the front and back eyes on the feet to mount it to a stand. Did Fisher ever make anvils without their name on them? Seems like it rings a bit more than my fisher at home, which has me wondering. Incredible price, good basic condition, and I get at least 80% rebound from my steel ball test. I should have taken a couple of pics, but didn't have my camera or cell with me at the time. Any thoughts? Thanks!
