greeting everyone im a journey smith from england my names matthew garton im planning on touring the u s a at the end of the spring start of the summer wondered if anyone would be looking for a spare pair of hands to work in the shop ive been forging full time for 5 years trained in hereford and received my bachelor of art in artist blacksmithing work for alot of smith in england and europe im currently in canada working and i am going to be journeying thorough the u s a around april through to the summer ive attached a few images of some of my work and one of me message me if your keen or you know anyone who might be thnaks alot happy forging !

hi my name is matthew garton I'm a journeyman smith from england Im am just about to finish a ba hons in artist blacksmithing in hereford. at the end of june 2012 i am looking to travel around the world as a journeyman growing my knowledge of forging and seeing some new places and meeting some great people. I've been blacksmithing for 5 years and I've worked in various workshops in england and europe. I'm passionate about forging and designing metalwork and would love the opportunity to grow my knowledge of metalworking and travel the world if you know anyone who would be interested in some cheap / free labour i would appreciate you passing on my details i can supply you with images of recent and past work and pictures of other smith commissions I've worked on if desired i can also supply references from past employers and lecturers.
