Ten Hammers, you can get the folk's at Ace Hardware to order a case or two for you, unless the epa doesn't allow them to sell it up there. I don't know, I'm pretty sure you can't buy it in CA but they don't let you buy a lot of fun stuff in CA. The mystery oil does work great, I have used it to clean parts on my Jeep I'm rebuilding, really good stuff.

The pic above is before I went over it with a wire brush, the white looking stuff is kind of like scale, most of it can be removed with an air hose but a wire brush is required in some areas.

Phosphuric acid, sold under the name Ospho at home depot, lowes, ect in the paint section will neautralize and kill any rust on any metal material excluding aluminum which it will literally eat, not that it rusts. About $5.00 a quart and a quart will last a very long time, one of the best product I have ever used. It also acts as a primer after its applied and has dried, just hit it with a wire brush and paint, or you can leave it alone. I personally like the look of it after it has dried. Here's a pic on the base of a sculpture that I made that was eaten up with rust.

My milwaulkee cut off runs at 3900 rpms and it does a great job, you might try that or maybe around 4000-4500 rpms.

A couple of bags of regular charcoal will also suck up any mosture in the air, I put a bag in my storage shed full of old furniture and that keeps the hummidity off it.

The rpm rate on a table saw is to high to cut most steel, most abrasive cutoff's run at a lower rpm rate. This could be why your disappointed with the results.

David Smith is a well reknowned metal sculptor, you might also check out some info on Julio Gonzales, Gonzales and Smith are both considered the "godfathers" of modern abstract metal sculpture. Lots fo good info on the net as well. If you are ever in Dallas Tx.
