    I have the exact same thing in my shop. 600lbs is correct. I think it was made in Greenfield Mass. Also have many die blocks with it. It has a ratcheted adjustment for different bolt lengths. Because of the size of the bolt heads and shafts in the dies, I'm guessing it formed bolts for bridges and other heavy construction using wood beams. Picked it up in VT.
