  1. Okay, my bad. I saw some numbers and letters on the side opposite of the Kohlwsa logo, and never paid any attention to them. There's an "A1" and a "91" in the casting. So, this is an A1 style anvil that is still listed on Kohlwsa's site as being in production. The "91" is the kilo weight, or 200.2 lbs. there is some weld slag on the face (nothing that penetrates, it pops right off when scraped with a cold chisel), one gouge on the very tip of the horn and 2 shallow gouges on the heel by the pritchel hole. I gave $300 for it and think I've got a pretty good deal. I still want to know what the "B50" is though, I'm going to write Kohlswa.
  2. Hehe, I figured that the "SWEDEN" on the side of the anvil was a dead givaway. No, I was looking for a "when", not a where :)
  3. Hey Everyone! Just bought this one today and it's pretty nice. I'll add some other pictures after I get it out of my car. I do have a question though. On one side of the base, it has B 50 in raised letters/numbers. I've been to the Kohlswa anvil site and see other "B" designated anvils, but none marked as a "50". Does anyone have an idea when the B 50's were manufactured? I'm just curious. Thanks for looking! Steve
