Traditional international blacksmith festival that took place this year in May had a wide resonance in mass media, was highly evaluated by the guests and participants of the festival, who categorized it as an unprecedented event for Eastern European countries and one of the best blacksmith meetings in last 2 years in the Eastern Europe (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine) .
With the aim of popularization of blacksmith are in Ukraine and outside the country we gladly announce:
5th International Blacksmith Festival-2007 and 6th exhibition"Ornamental Forging- 2007" in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine will take place on May 4-6, 2007.
It will include :
-2 exhibitions: "Ornamental Forging- 2007"and "Artistic Metal"
-demonstrations of blacksmith craftsmenship on the main square in the downtown;
-making of the collaborative sculpture -monumental composition "Easter Egg";
blacksmith master-classes with the promiment world artists
with the participation of the viewers;
-lectures, conference, slide-show - with the aim of exchanging of information and experience;
-press-conference of the participants of the festival with the representatives of local, regional, central and foreign mass media;
-a theatrical knight tournament in the medieval armory;
-repersenting of your countries (food, music, flags, elements of the folk costume - if this is possible for your delegation);
-excursions in the city and region;
-different contests.
Blacksmiths and delegations from about 20 countries and from all over Ukraine are going to take part in the festival.
