    I came across the forum while looking for information on how to repair an anvil I just bought. I currently live in Layton, UT--about 20 miles north of Salt Lake. I work for the Army as an Ammunition Equipment Specialist at Tooele Army Depot. I'm married, and have 6 children--4 girls, 2 boys. All grown and out of the nest. I enjoy gunsmithing, shooting, reloading, metal working, playing in our community band (Euphonium), genealogy, and tinkering in my garage. I've lived in several places--my dad was a hard-rock miner and we moved a lot. Also spent several years in the military. Some place I called home are: Tucson, AZ; Wallace, ID; Bishop, CA; Pocatello, ID; Denver, CO; Hastings, NE; Anniston, AL; Aberdeen, MD; and Karlsruhe, Germany. I look forward to learning all I can in the forum--I'm new to blacksmithing, but have always wanted to learn more.
