    i agree with the above about progressing. the company i work for are run by people who have been there for 30 years doing it the same way...with the same tools for 30 years with out much in the way of updates/reworking of machines.

    just getting on to the site today. i have been working with steel for the majority of the last 12 years. a vast amount of that time i was fabricating and servicing asphalt plants for bituma corp. for the past 3 years i have been working for a laminate manufacturer in iowa as a maintenance tech. where i have been trying to improve my machining ability. i am currently building a new sheet stacker with a 3rd of the moving parts as the previous stacker. i am sure that i will have plenty of questions along the way. shifter
