does anyone know anything about lil abner air hammers? I built one recently from some old drawings, and everything works fine except for the shock absorber cushions where the ram is connected to the air cylinder. The top cushions wear out in one short session. I have tried them with the nuts down tight and with them loose. Nothing seems to work for long. Any suggestions. I tried googling Bart Roman of Renaissance Metal Arts, whose name was on the drawings, and have found nothing.
