Got the propane forge out... and now the tank's empty! Forgot how much I loved the smell of red hot steel!

Out of propane... also wants to get the big coal forge set up

getting a lot of good ideas this winter... can't wait til it's spring, so I can run and forge.

Hello all. I was just browsing the internet when I chanced upon this website. Currently, I'm working on learning more detailed basics of blade smithing (swords, axes, tomahawks, etc) but am open to other things related to forging as well. I was surprised that there is an entire site of people as interested in such things as I am. I hope to make the most out of this site, and learn how to better my metal working skills.
