This is the anvil sitting in it's stand. The stand creates a socket that the bottom plate sits in which is tight enough for the stand to stay attached if you hoist the anvil, it will come off with a few light hammer blows but it is very secure and has killed most of the very bad ring. /cheer - no need for the chain or magnets now!
