Close up of the ball. Tied a knot in the 1/4in. prior to it going through the 1in. I used a 3/4in. die and ran the 1in. through it straight and let the excess metal go to the sides causing the wing effect. Same with the copper, bigger dia. makes for bigger wings! This was entered in an art show last year...didn't make the cut, only paintings got accepted into the show! Had fun anyway.
