My 2007 Damascus knives.
I hadn't made any Damascus steel in 10 years. I figured I'd better get back at it, or risk losing the skill. These are some of the results. All of the knives are 448 layer ladder pattern Damascus made by me. The alloys used are 203-E and 1095, and I used birds-eye red cedar for the handles except for the 18" long Bowie at the bottom which has blued Damascus fittings ad a mule deer antler handle. I've just purchased a new Striker 88 lb. air hammer and I'll soon be making a large quantity of Damascus with it.
