Knife Construction from File

This is an early step of creating carving knives from files. The upper file is untouched, while below are two knife blanks created from one file. I have already ground off the file teeth from the knife blanks I show them how they were positioned from the original file. The tang of the second knife was created simply by cutting in from the top and bottom with the grinder.
