Fosterob Posted December 9, 2010 Share Posted December 9, 2010 I have been looking through the anvil posts and can not find anything on how to tell the age of Peter Wright anvils other than made in England means after 1910. I was cleaning up the first anvil I got years ago and saw what seems to be Peter Wright on the side and the numbers 2 0 15. I think that is 239 lbs. Is there a serial number anyplace? All the writing on the side is very faint with only a few letters from each word still visible. I will post pics after the camera battery charges. Thank you in advance.
