drillmastertommy Posted October 12, 2008 Share Posted October 12, 2008 Hi everybody At last I have found an excuse to get away from the tv whilst my wife insists on watching a 101 bad soap operas! I have been having a go at smithing for just under 2 years now after being made redundant from my last employed job. Frustratingly most of my work has been done with gas and fabricating tools as I have been without a forge hearth for a while up until very recently when I aquired a great 1 mtr square solid fuel hearth (purchased second hand from West Dean college in Sussex England, go there if you can it's a stunning place with loads of amazing courses). I'm really pleased to have found somewhere I can put up all of my daft questions and am really looking forward to having a good trawl through the site, have had a quick scout through and have found some pretty impressive stuff.
