Thorsrevenge
Hello every one, I'm an apprentice blacksmith in southwest colorado while I'm going to college at Fort Lewis for history and education. I would describe my apprenticeship as a formal one and almost traditional, or at least as traditional as it can get with having started when I was seven. I work in my teachers shop three days a week during the school years and six days a week during the summer. I am his over all shop monkey charged with cleaning (lol), making sure tools are put away, getting things ready and layer out, as well as any forge work my teacher deems I can tackle or help with. Thats just my normal day then there are the days where all the work I put in pays off in the form of continued lessons in specific topics or areas of blacksmithing. All in all Ive been at it consistently for six months now and I still have sixty more years to go before I know anything and I can't wait.
