murfcabbage Posted March 28, 2012 Share Posted March 28, 2012 Just got an anvil and it has on it Made in Sweden, 286 lbs. Above the Made in Sweden is a small start, 5 sided, about 1/2 inches across. I saw some reference to it in a search and it is supposedly made of a one piece charcoal steel, whatever that is. Great ring to it and it looks like a classic anvil, much like a hay budden, which I also own. Can anyone shed some light on this swedish anvil? Thanks all.
