Looking for MICA material a transluant material used on outdoor lights? I'am using mild steel and copper for the light fixtures. Any sources for this plastic material, I beleive they come in sheets.

Forge welding this is new to me I would like to weld pieces of metal together. Whats the best flux to use, how hot should the metal should be? What's the best joining practice. Any help would be helpful. I've been using mig and tig welding to join to make it air tight.

Thanks for allowing me to join this forum. Been working with metal for about 5 years and find it an interesting hobbie, I reside in western Arizona little hot and very dry so I don't spend much time in my shop in the summer, starting to get back into the swing of things weathers cooling down. Looking forward to reading and learning other techniques. Also looking for any conference or demostration in the western US?

I've been working with metal for 15 years and just started metal puffing, Iam looking for information or ideas that can help, any help would be helpful.
