Can anyone give me pointers how to retin my copper pots. I've researched it quite a bit before attempting it. I've tried several times unsuccessfully. I soaked the pot in white vinegar and used a scouring pad on it. I have a good heat source. I have Flux and pure tin yet the tin will not spread very well and any material I use to spread it around leaves particles in the tin. I've used pieces of cotton jeans and I even read that insulation can be used so I tried that as well. I have very well made old and thick pots. Any advice other than send them out to be done professionally?
