Would you be able to tell me what kind of anvil this is? It has no name on it. It is marked 0-3-17. How do tell the weight by that number?
Thank you for the info

Thank you Thomas. This anvil rings like a bell! Amazing. Hurts the ears. Lol. It is in amazing shape. I didn’t have a ball bearing to try the rebound but it will be good. I cleaned off the dirt a bit with a wire wheel already and mounted it on a big log base.
Thomas what does the llRC mean?

Probably the best $50 you will spend for a long time. 153 was the weight when it was made, S/N dates it to 1919. As long as the remaining top plate is still attached, there is plenty of working area over the waist.
Good score, have fun with it!
I have a Acme Trenton anvil. Marked N 125 A80217. Can you tell me what year it is? Thank you in advance. I was trying to post a picture but I can’t figure it out.

Can anyone help me identify and date this anvil. I can not find a makers mark on it anywhere but it does have the weight 165lbs and serial# I believe says A155022. I believe it may be a Trenton or a Columbus forge and iron? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
