Here is my anvil. 123lb. Armitage Mouse Hole, I think around 1820-1835 from what research I have done. I'm happy with the little guy. I am just really starting out so still don't know what I dont know.

Hello everyone,
Just started digging into this site. I have been making knives stock removal for about 8 years now but only recently got the itch to forge.I have a Mouse Hole Anvil, some basic tools for now. I have been trying to start with small projects like hooks, fire pokers and bottle openers. Finding some good info on here. Here are a few pictures of what I have been working on the last few weeks.

Yes that is what I was going off of. If there is a better way I'm all ears. To my eye I do not see any indication that it was punched, I will take a good picture of the underside a d see what you guys think.
Thank you, I honestly don't know what to compare it with. I should probably do some research on what is good or bad rebound. Is there a simple test? Also what affects the rebound over the years?
