  1. I agree with George on all points, I noticed is that their bevels don't seem to be as extreme as the one you showed. I would almost suspect they are doing a "blending" after they put in their primary bevels with the slack part of the grinder... I haven't tried that but I think it would work. Like George said, experiment around a bit... and let me know how it turns out, cause I see some of that style in my future projects... :)

  2. I made this as one of my first commission pieces. My friend and his wife both commissioned me to make Kukris for each other for a Christmas present to each other. The cool part was that neither of them knew that they other one had done it. and they commissioned the EXACT same blade. So they got a matching set of his and hers kukris :) I was completely stressed out building them and loved every minute of it. They were super happy too. Blade is 80crv2 and the handle is ebony and rosewood with copper fittings.
