    I've never heard of coal Brickette, must be a local term. Usually things made into briquete's have a lot of unwanted ingredients added to bind them together. Where in the world are you located.

  2. Hi my grandson is wanting to try blacksmithing and we going to use brakedrum as the pot .We have run to to a problem  getting coal .

    1 Can we use a coal Brickette which is coal dust made into a brick about the size of an egg

    2 are we better to use charcoal

    Any help please
