I've done it already, but no information on FEP ,just name size and price, fep 3 the smaller version, fep 5 77 pounds, fep 8 110pound, fep 11 176 pound, fep 13 ???.
The strsnge thing is that this manufacturer have seem to be disappeared, no one know a thing about them ,no documents online , this his pretty sad , the only thing they left is anvils.

small knifes ,tongs, bottle openers, keychains and so on.(mainly small items)
About the anvil i' m pretty sure it should be italian, i have found online a few other fep anvils here in italy and if i am not wrong the guy in the other topic said he found it in italy.
Thank you both for the answers.

This is a 110 pund Italian (i think cast steel) anvil that a machinist gave me for free, he said that his grandfather used it to forge anchor destinated to small ships.
I found out in some italian forums that fep was a premium quality italian manufacturer, but i can't find a single information about FEP , nobody else remember them.
The 8 number represent the 110 pound/50 kilo version.
I also found under the anvil what appears to be a serial number or mybe year of production ,i don't know.
This anvil is hard as a rock, ball baring bounce almost 100% and the ring is so loud that it hurts my hears, edges are fine, but the surface is pretty beat up.
I was asking about all the chisel or butcher marks that the body ofthis anvil is covered of.
Sorry for bad English as you can tell i'm italian.

I don't know ,if the guy's grandfather used it maybe 30/40 years. Under my anvil i've found 3 numbers:
-79 (perhaps 1979)
-7 (serial Number)
-8 version of the anvil.
I'm not sure.
