I have just bought an old swage block, i plan on using it for many years to come but id love to know where it comes from or atleast how old it is. The only mark i found on it says 4 1/2 in a small circle but i think that has something to do with the side dentations as the largest half circle is 4 1/2 inches wide. Can anyone put an age on this block?
