I have been making stock removal knives for 30 yrs and want to try forging. I have recently gotten a hand cranked blower and a Buffalo forge. The forge has no cracks but had to replace the legs and build a new Tuyere. Got a local muffler shop to fab a connecting air pipe for it---it works great. Finally found a nice 100 pound Fisher (1905) with very good rebound and dead flat top. Just need to get it mounted on a solid base and start beating on hot iron! Great forum!
