Here you guys go...it's not step by step...but you'll get the idea :P -
Hello. They are pitons (peee-tons). They were used in rock climbing. They get pounded into cracks of the rock, for protection, and for aid climbing. Newer versions of those are still in use today.
Yeah, same idea really -
Beautiful roses. I have a fair amount of pipe and now I know what to do with it.
Thanks,
Mark <><
Thanks !! Next time I do these I'm going to try and chisel them out instead of using tin snips...
They're 4 petals per layer, with a square hole punched in to fit over the squared up shank so they don't turn...the center disk is punched at a 45 degree offset from the other two. -
I like them "thingies"! Whatcha use em for?
I haven't used them but the idea I had in my head was that you could tap them into some trees to hang a tarp or whatever if you're camping or out in the woods...I got the idea from some tent stakes i had seen somewhere, but most of these would be too short for tent stakes. -
Wow that's nice !!
But you can totally spot the fake leather :P -
That is nice !!
I wanna try a folder one day, I think they're generally the handiest.
This one has style !! -

When I thought about it afterwards...you COULD just tie the rope directly to the tree...but it's too late now, they're already made :P
