  1. I have what I think is a deal for the "new" person. I am located in Memphis TN. I will not ship. For the princely sum of 100.00 american: a cast rivet forge with a blower (the pump handle is missing). A 5 inch post vise (missing the spring and mount) and 30 inches of heavy main line railroad track. If someone wants this soon i might have a few other "things" to add to this start-up set. I don't check here too often, PM or email me through the site.

  2. I got one not long ago. For the price it's GREAT. However be prepared to do lots of finishing work on it when it arrives. I knew this going in. It is straight from the sand at the foundry. A few hours with a die/snag grinder and you will have a first rate swage block that would cost you 5X more IF you could find on.
Get one and enjoy finally having it. JB Bergman

  3. Hi all,
While out of town and stopping at some junk, (antique) stores, I came upon a box of old metal "stamps". Most were 1 inch square stock about 3 or 4 inches long. Many were marked, Made In England. The stamping ends were a veriety of flowery designs, geometric shapes, grids ect. Nothing that looked like a Touche Mark. I don't think they are for decorative sheet metal work, even on the 1 inch square ones the stanp is only about a 1/2 inch square. Many were 1/2 inch stock with 1/4 inch designs. They had benn hammered on the opposing ends. Looked awful heavy duty for leather work. Any ideas?
I'll get some pictures next trip if anyone has some ideas.
    Thanks, JB Bergman
