  1. Yep, it's from Jay. I thought I would keep trying to change the color of the cone before I get it set in the forge. I need to get the lining in the forge and decide what i'm going do for the doors then I'm ready to go. I've been using oxy/acet set up to heat things up with. I also want to a coal set up going too but one thing at time.
  2. I'm trying to adjust a burner I'm building and was wanting to know if a green-blue cone is ok? The outer flame is blue with little to no orange in it. I'm not sure if you guy tell by the pitcure attached. Russell
  3. I guess I've just been scratching the surface. Thanks for the tip Glenn. I'll definitely be spending some time there as well. Is there a way to search it? I was told about a downdraft forge this evening and haven't found much on it. Then again it may not be either. Russell
  4. Thanks welder19, I do agree with all the reading I've been doing lately this does seem to be the spot.
  5. This is a great forum, I've been reading it for about the last 6 months and even putting some of it to practice. I'm not really sure what even got me going on it, but it's very fascinating and I find myself reading or doing involving some aspect of blacksmithing every chance I get. Like I said this forum has a lot of information and good people from what I read day to day. I hope at some point I can contribute. Russell
