the refractory stuff i got says 1/8 inch max. Read the lable twice and bought a set of thick gloves to throw away after words.
Ill post a pic once i get it all done. Should take over 2000 degrees. the refractory stuff i mean. -
The blower turns fine as far as i can tell. I it makes noise but i think that's normal. I still cant believe they were selling it as a grill. If you look at it. There is a text that says "Clay forge before using" lol.
I also bought a bucket of refractory cement along with some other stuff. Will that work to line the inside? -

Im really new to this but already love this craft. That being said im living in a very small town and am having trouble getting matierials to work with. I recently got like 20 leafsprings form some old cars and a bucked of railroad spikes. So i have some metal to work with for awile. Thing is im trying to price material but the quotes im getting locally seam really high. Whats a good price for stock? Also if anyone knows a good price for 18g sheetmetal i would be intrested.

I am a web programmer by trade so let me know if you need any help. I'm also good at data entry if it comes down to copy and pasting a ton of data into the new system. I know your frustration we switched form a 32bit windows 2003 server to a 64bit 2008 and it was a whole load of problems.
