Iron Falcon 72 Posted December 8, 2008 Share Posted December 8, 2008 Here are a couple of hammers I got 2 years apart from the same seller. He says he got them from the same estate. The dead man may have worked for a company that used sheet metal. The hammers are nearly identical and other than the letters YR on the top hammer in the left corner of the flat, are unmarked. They appear to have been cast and then cleaned up. Anybody have any idea how they were used? Two photos shows saw marks around the handle hole on the bottom side of the larger unmarked hammer (Henry3&4).
