Old Machines

That is pretty cool. Wish they would have had a bit more wide angle shots to see the whole thing. 

I was running a Davenport model B. Those were designed back in the early 1900's and did not go through but a few changes all the way up until the 2000's. Those changes have mostly been adding computer controls to them. We also still use a lot Hardinge chuckers. These machine all being manual and old i can still split a thousandth of an inch with. 

I got promoted to tool maker at my work so now i make the tooling and tool holders for those machines and the CNC department.

  That's a nice promotion in my opinion, and a nice place to be.  Here is another view.  

I hope to own a small metal planer before croak.  Being a hobbiest that can't afford it, I'm not holding my breath.
