BayardStrachan
Hello, I would love it if anyone out here could Id this anvil for me, the only markings I could find was a kinda four leaf clover shaped stamp on one of the feet. ThomasPowers
Made in England I believe from the thick waist and "clunky" look. That narrows it down to only several hundred makers!
BayardStrachan
lol should be easy from here then
Daswulf
Looks like a nice usable anvil whoever made it. Blunted horn but that is a non issue really.
ThomasPowers
Really! You need a pointy one, make a bick for the hardy hole and don't forget to laugh maniacally every time you accidentally bruise yourself on that truncated horn and NOT on a sharp pointed one! Daswulf
Many and any number of tools can be made to fit the hardy hole! I don't mind the horn either way. My anvils horn is oriented out of the way of my movements so I dont bump into it. I do like the usefulness (on occasion) but a bickern can do the same if not better. BayardStrachan
Yep, that was pretty much my reasoning. Someone suggested it might be a mousehole what do ya reckon??
