natkova
Hi guys how this need to be turned Should handles go to side (clicker breaker and ash dump) And can I weld on it (considering electric fan mounted) I need to make it taller and I need to weld shelves for tongs and hammers am I allowed to do that while I unplug electricity from forge? Will welder mess up fan? And do you prefer hearth of forge away from you or toward you
anvil
I have the narrow end of the firepot in front of me. The clinker ball handle should be below you and in front of you, not to the side. If your electric is grounded, you shouldn't have a problem. However, shutting off the electric is not a bad idea,,, just in case.

natkova
All right folks i will have to change place of switch i have litle spot on hand from heat so yeah. I wont use extension cord becasue (fan) cable is too short. I wonder is it safe to attach cable to cable and just connect faze and zero to faze and zero and ductape it? I maybe dont need to take all apart. This cable go from fan to electricity . Point off all this fuss and fiddling so o can move switch to comfortable side. Where I don't get my hand burn by spark.. natkova
Sometimes simple solutions are best Since I couldn't open turn switch handle and add more cables I just made way so my cable of forge get "extended" by removing some holders that keep cord short, path is now shorter and I can add extension cord with switch and fasten that cable so it can act as switch. natkova
Its fixed now I don't have to reach that far for switch . And protection in case spark might fly away. https://www.iforgeiron.com/uploads/monthly_2022_08/VID_20220828_133718.mp4.6d6a09def1427b027e25439660a80c25.mp4
