The Deep
Hello from Oregon! Thanks for the information. Nothing to repair. Battle scars add character. Haha
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
It is perfectly serviceable like it stands, as long as the ringing & rebound is consistent over the remainder of the hardened steel face. We see so many people who just start welding on an anvil without knowing what it takes to repair them and they completely ruin a good anvil by milling or grinding the face. The Deep
I can appreciate that. There was a time many moons ago when I would have done that myself. Grinder and all. Now a days, even with my woodworking, Chisels and files as much as possible. Takes longer but I enjoy the effort. It seems I have learned an appreciation for old relics with stories to tell.
