Great Pic!

My Grandfather has an interesting story. Shortly before the dust bowl and great depression, He ended up in Montana. Got a job in a mine. They took him down and he met his crew. To his surprise, they were his two brothers! Long story short, they all moved to eastern Colorado and tried homesteading. Sugar beets were prime. Alas, By hook and crook, they lost their water rights. Back to the coal mines in the Colorado Springs area and the steel mills in Pueblo. I, as a youngster, particularly remember the smell of his pipe(Prince Albert), his accent, his gardening, the smell of coal, and all the middle European "North Ender" neighbors.  Thats the north end of the Springs. Maybe that smell is why I got into smithing.
