FatBadger
I'm with you TW, I'll have to drag my retro grill with me wherever I go now. But a hamburger sized forge does sound good. To go with my smoker and new(ish) grill.
BIGGUNDOCTOR
Saw Fat Badger and thought Wisconsin. Michigan should be a Fat Wolverine I have a lot of relatives in MI an we have some property in Montmorencey County up near Alpena. My folks were from Detroit and Warren. Quite a few Michiganders here in S.NV - no snow, and warmer winters. What do you have for an anvil?
FatBadger
Kids gave me the Nickname years ago. I'm sort of in the market for an anvil at the moment. I bought an old railroad tie and hardwood bench setup at a guild meeting. I'll come across something at some point, but in the mean time I've got plenty of heavy stuff to work on my hammer skills. ThomasPowers
Don't forge on RailRoad ties the creosote impregnated wood makes quite toxic smoke. Now RR rails are used by a lot of folks; check out the improvised anvil thread for some great suggestions on how to use them vertically!
