Will Vick
Forged spikes, on a textured base with the rough torch cut left mostly alone. Spikes are plug welded on from the bottom. I've done a few welded sculptures with the same spike theme, it was good to hammer one out for a change.
Daswulf
I Like it Will. Matches my spikey personality. Digging the forged look of the spikes. Great piece. I'm sure it will be desirable to buyers. Smart move plug welding from underneith.
Scott NC
That is eyecatching. They look to me like crystals growing out of a matrix. It's also given me a spike covered armour plating idea for a future project. Thanks.....
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Looks like a Stegosaurus tail tip, a fitting name for the sculpture.

Scott NC
Tri spike would make a good display mount for an ammonite specimen I have or a nice countertop "Vulcans Grill" recipie book holder if one ever gets published. The more I look at it......

The Stegosaurus is objectively the coolest of dinosaurs.
Scott NC
T-rex, Triceratops and Stegosaurus get all the glory. Consider Kronosaurus, 22 tons and it fed on sharks. Harvard had a specimen knicknamed Plasterosaurus as the result of it being recovered using dynamite and they used good old plaster to reconstruct it. It is amazing what came before us.
