Fil_Rabey Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Hi All, Just a quick hello from me, I'm heading into early retirement and hopefully picking up a hammer again after a career change some 30 years ago. I will be fairly quiet in the near future as I will be lurking in the forums to learn and refresh. I also want to find out some details on an Anvil I've had for years with no step. I've found a few posts here describing something similar. As soon as I stop lurking in the Forum, I'll hopefully come and be more social. Quote
ThomasPowers Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Quite a few varieties of anvils with no step; the Birmingham Pattern for instance. Can you post some pictures of it? Any Markings? Quote
Frosty Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Welcome aboard Fil, glad to have you. Sorry, you've delurked, can't go back so you might as well talk now. Sort of an Iforge custom is needing a picture to believe things. We LOVE pics. Frosty The Lucky. Quote
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks Posted September 27, 2021 Posted September 27, 2021 Welcome from the Ozark mountains, across the pond. Quote
Fil_Rabey Posted September 28, 2021 Author Posted September 28, 2021 Thanks all for the welcome, I'll certainly post some pics up. Thanks also for the welcome from across the pond. My other keen interest is vintage and custom motorcycles, ironically during lockdown, I became an avid listener to a podcast that comes out of Ozark. The roads around there sound fantastic. Quote
