TWISTEDWILLOW
I’m flipping through AinA but the serial numbers under arm am hammer don’t go that high, or start with a letter the haybudden does but not with the letter A, the serials with A stop much lower trenton goes that high but it doesn’t list theirs as starting with A
ThomasPowers
A may not be part of the serial number too, I'd hold out for the shape of the indentation on the base.
TWISTEDWILLOW
Well just browsing the book, if it’s a Trenton it’s a 1913 if it’s a haybudden it’s a 1906 I’m still looking though
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Not a Hay Budden, their weight is on the side under the logo.
EpyonX
ThomasPowers: The indentation in that picture is shaped like this ">" with the open end pointing up around the 11'o clock position. Also, after looking at the base carefully I think that letter "A" before the long string of numbers might actually be an "N" if so would that change who the maker might be? ThomasPowers
No.
EpyonX
Alright, looks like I just barely have letter fragments that was hidden under the paint. Got the foot stamps cleaned up too so that long number string now reads: A 108151 Here's to hoping we can finally figure out the brand... ThomasPowers
Still no picture of the base?
EpyonX
ThomasPowers: Here's the underside of the base if that's what you were referring to there were no markings that I noticed. There are no stampings on the heel side of the foot:
ThomasPowers
Classic Caplet indentation: Trenton and a few Arm & Hammer anvils No stampings or other markings expected on the base just the shape of the indentation.
