I'm not exactly a new hand at this but its been over 20 years since I've had a shop to use and my skills are rustier than a Ford car frame in Chicago.  I'm looking to get back into smithing so I have an excuse to make useful things and make loud noises again.  I prefer making jewelry and finer detail work when I can (electroplating is a current ((hah, dad pun)) obsession of mine) and restoring/restomodding older equipment brings me great pleasure.

Welcome aboard Patrisssimo, glad to have you. Playing with fire, hitting things with hammers, dirt, smoke, dangerous. What could be better? I see house jewelry in your future.

I hope you're into more adult punishment, I had to read "dad" a couple times before realizing you didn't mean Bad pun. Lke there is such a thing.
