ZBarrett Posted April 14, 2021 Share Posted April 14, 2021 As a Gass fitter in ontario, any flue that isn't 636 venting for a furnace, that goes through a wall or attic, or any space that will have temp variances needs to be double walled and be so many inches from combustibles. This clearance can be reduced if using certain rated insulation. Please don't quote me as I don't have my code book and charts on me.
