firegnome
I have made a 2 hook shepards hook and want to rivet on both side. No I can not find my notes and I do not do riveting that often is it 1.5 time diamiter for a nice rivet head? I made the header tool with a ball bearing seating it in half way to give a nice round head. So this one is more a I forgot silly question. Thanks Firegnome. Doug C
1.5 is what I use. Others, more experience, may have a different answer.
Rich Hale
Questions like this are great. It number one gives you direction for your project, and number two brings it to the surface so that others that may want to rivet something in the future will have something to go by. Thank you. chyancarrek
1.5 -2 x dia. works for a proportional head. I'll use more or less depending on the look I'm after and what kind of stress the piece might see or the shape of the area where the rivet is.
