Sticks
Trying to identify a makers mark on a hammer that I purchased today. It is stamped with an Anchor with three letters across it. The first two are clearly FR and the third is possibly a P or F. Any help would be appreciated. Will try to add photos. The older gentleman that I purchased it from said his grandfather was a blacksmith in the Philly area and it had belonged to him
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
The Read This First thread tells how to do the most effective search. I tried that and came up with a bunch of threads about the anchor logo. Here is but one. Shows the logo much better.

ThomasPowers
Note that telling us what country it was found in can help a lot to narrow down possibilities. www = World Wide Web you know!
Sticks
The man I purchased it from said that it belonged to his grandfather and that he was a blacksmith in Philadelphia Pennsylvania USA. Doing more research the FRP with Anchor was the stamp for Fayette R Plumb.
