Rojo Pedro
I picked up another post vise and thought I would share some info for those that might be interested. They both measure exactly 4-3/8” The old one on the right is stamped 50 on the movable jaw. It has a 1-1/8” screw and a 1” leg. The new one is stamped 45 on the mounting bracket and has a 1-1/16” screw and a 11/16” leg. although lighter the jaws are much beefier than the larger vise. i didnt really need the new one but it is really good condition and I might mount it on my welding table
ThomasPowers
Or as a travel vise if you do demos. I generally divide vises into "gracile" and "robustus" and it's possible to find most jaw sizes in both "light" and "heavy" forms. Though often with a greater weight difference than 5 pounds... I see that your has different makers as well.
