nealj
I thought it was time to get out of the bleachers and post. I truly enjoy the helpful attitude on this forum. I have way to many things going on to be too serious about blacksmithing, but I play around when I can. So anyway thanks to everyoneon this site that I have learned from and hope to learn more. civilwarblacksmith
Great to have you here. It will be nice here how you do things. Any idea may be a better way to do something than the way someone is doing it now.

nealj
Neal - were abouts in Western Minnesota? Brainerd area here. We live outside of Fergus Falls. I would like to take a drive over and see that helve hammer you rebuilt.
jeremy k
Neal - I will have the helve hammer (weather permitting) running at the Albany Pioneer Days show(Minnesota), Sept. 12,13,14, 2008. I've helped run the blacksmith shop there for the last 3 years along with other members of Central Minnesota Blacksmiths group.
nealj
I will try to make it down to Albany. Looking forward to meeting you. Do you know any source for coal in this area?
jeremy k
Minnesota school of horseshoeing has coal - if your a member of the guild of metalsmiths you get a little better price - it's a bring your own container and shovel deal
